I’ve used this graffiti removal stuff I bought at Home Depot. Comes in a spray can and seems to work fine without screwing with the finish. There may be something better tho

Charles Daly bought a bunch from Zastava. They were manufacturing "mini Mausers" in 7.62x39 and .223.
They made some 98 actioned Mausers - Remington bought Daly out and marketed the 98s as "Remington 798"
I bought one of the 7.62 barreled actions and built it for my then 11 year old. Nice little gun, here's a deer I shot with it two years ago.
