I think the L just means it has a longer slide and barrel, but same frame. If it was a different frame, I think it would be a 34 or some shit.

Ok so here is how i put my OG Galil Stock on my Galil Ace.
1. Get tools
2. Put new stock on
3. All done.

No really here is how i did it:
1. These are the tools I used and notice i have the KNS delete kit so i was able to loosen the grip a little to provide the shelf needed for the AR Tool to rest on.
The blue thingey is a Secure card holder and i just used the Snap to be my pusher (use what you have).
2. Put blade end of AR tool in the slot between grip and frame and place the Snap carefully on top of the AR tool like this and push up to reveal the snap ring.
I used my pocket knife to pop the C-clip ring off, then just reverse the process to put it back together:
If you do not have a Delete kit you can use a paint stick and Tape it real good to the back of your grip to make the shelf needed to do this process or you can use a C-Clamp on the A2-Style Grip to hold the Paint Stirrer in place.
