Looked at the kit again. AOA saw my note about it being my first kit, and they did good!
It is an unissued demilled kit. No wear at all on the trunnion, UF parts, bolt. It was cleaned, oiled, and put away.
We had many rifles like that in the battalion armory. Only a few would be checked out for shooting practice (not a full strength division). Will take pics tonight. Now to order a number matching Polish Childers receiver.

So it appears there are two gas tube lengths on SA85s. Anyone know if the AMD length is over gassed or did they adjust the gas port to match?
