    Your EDC weapon of choice

G26... I have a tiny light on my key chain if that counts ;) If it's too dark to see what I'm about to shoot, I probably shouldn't be pointing a gun at whatever it might be.

All ballistic calculators aside, this is the real answer to hitting what you are aiming at

Not surprising at the drop difference.... nearly double the bullet weight makes a difference. Search for "Sierra Exterior Ballistics" or something similar- exterior ballistics refers to what happens to the bullet outside of the barrel. Sierra used to have a free online tool for calculating...

    SETs NFA Pics Thread

Nice!! If you're only going to have one, that's an awesome pick. .45 is naturally subsonic and that pistol is a damn icon in my opinion.

    Glock upgrades

The trigger bar does make a big difference in the factory trigger pull. I haven't changed any springs on mine though.

    Panic Stockpile Apocalypse 2016

I'm with this guy... ammo and mags. Although I haven't been buying much of either lately. Need to sell something for some fun money.

Any Delay on Approval for Gun Purchases

News to me... but I always just give them my permit when I'm picking something up. Finding me in a gun store is a very rare occurrence these days though. I haven't been spending much fun money at all.

80% Lower Jig or Drillpress and router

Finally found my "drill press only" project: http://www.southeasttraders.com/threads/finishing-an-80-lower-on-a-drill-press.2525/ Now note that I had to do some hand filing to flatten out some of the drilled holes so the trigger/hammer would actually go into the lower. @Balthaz work looks...

80% Lower Jig or Drillpress and router

I was literally just reading your post in the other thread. Reading that makes sense- just don't be in the business of cutting metal and the tools are fine to use.

80% Lower Jig or Drillpress and router

I'm no where near Kennesaw- sorry. Do you have to use your own tools for this kind of thing? I'm a bit fuzzy on the official wording.

    Yipee!

Ooooohhhh myyyyy.... That's freaking awesome looking. And definitely not MP5 money either! Very nice build man-

My pops shooting full auto for the first time.

That's great man- I'm glad you got to share the experience with him!

    Panic Stockpile Apocalypse 2016

That P99 is the reason I don't own a G19. Damn it's a great pistol. I recently bought a "cheap" leather IWB holster for it. Just a piece of advice for everyone- don't buy a "cheap" leather holster. Compared to my Glaco, it's a piece of crap. I wish I could get a good leather holster from...

    Panic Stockpile Apocalypse 2016

I'm so ashamed... I panic bought Walther mags at regular price.

Any regular SET members do NFA engraving?

Holy shit that is hilarious... I can't believe someone did that- complete with one X'ed out letter in "Norcross"... I'd almost sacrifice a lower... almost. ;) And on a side note, that's why you've got to use hand files- those electric engravers can get away from you too fast.

Med Kits & First Aid Packs

I'm looking forward to any advice or observations you have to offer-

Any regular SET members do NFA engraving?

I've got some Harbor Freight files and a 12 pack... what's the worst that could happen?

    SBR upper?

I guess I'll open this can of worms.... the dimensions of .223 and 5.56 are identical. The only difference in the rounds is a slightly higher operating pressure for the 5.56. I'll have to check the book later today, but I think that the difference is like 3 or 4 percent.

    SBR upper?

Nothing wrong with 7.62X39- that round packs a hell of a thump. But if I were going to shoot it, I'd have to go with an AK. That is the rifle that was designed to shoot that caliber.
