The trigger bar does make a big difference in the factory trigger pull. I haven't changed any springs on mine though.

I guess I'll open this can of worms.... the dimensions of .223 and 5.56 are identical. The only difference in the rounds is a slightly higher operating pressure for the 5.56. I'll have to check the book later today, but I think that the difference is like 3 or 4 percent.

Nothing wrong with 7.62X39- that round packs a hell of a thump. But if I were going to shoot it, I'd have to go with an AK. That is the rifle that was designed to shoot that caliber.
