I've had at least three Delton (DTI) upper assemblies over the years- all shot fine. I believe that they all had DTI BCGs in them also- However, these days PSA gets most of my AR money.

What are we comparing here? Uppers, lowers, complete factory built rifles? I've had a couple DTI uppers, never one of their lowers. Never had a SOTA anything, but have had a few Anderson lower builds. They seemed to be fine. I'd toss Aero into the mix too. Had one of their factory assembled...

The installer failed to retract the jackleg before tightening down on the sights.

I forgot about the buffer retainer pin- that should cover 2 of the remaining 3 percent... but I also understand about being in the 1% club. I'm partially taking this from Rudy at Macon Machine- he commented once that he mills the upper extension off of the AR9 bolts.

Can't rotate around- hammer is in the way 97% of the time, except for the very short time the hammer is completely down in the lower.
