No. Super has a custom wood furniture and a side rail laying on top of that furniture. Cool features are a combo front sight and gas block combo, plus extended mag release.
That's not enough for me for being stuck with sporterized stock. Since side rail lays on top of the stock, taking stock off leaves a gap between the rail and receiver, as far as I can tell.

PS the rear of the receiver is not slanted or straight under the wood stock, it is cut in steps, and I have not seen any adapters for it. You will need to have someone cut, form and weld a custom peice to square the back. Way too much work.
I think I bought a wood stock someone was trying to adapt to that rifle ....

I like Border Collies. When I was in WY, they had 2 of them. Gracie the female was a working dog for real. She'd let you pet her but she wouldn't come to you. And when it was time to work, she would really perk up.

Bullet was the male. Awesome dog, I loved him. He would work but he loved to play also.

I guess it's all in the training and handling, as to what you get out of the dog. But that could be said for any breed?
I need some working CATS.

These fucking millennial cats I’ve got just aren’t killing very much. And they won’t eat table scraps???
Who ever heard of such an animal??

Wife and I are discussing livestock guarding dogs for the new place. We're getting donkey's so I am pro skipping the LDG since donkeys will keep coyotes away. Wife likes the idea of an LDG as backup.

Current breeds we are looking at:

Karakachan (Bulgarian)

Akbash (Turkish)

Kangal (Turkish)

Then of course the more common dogs like Great
Pyrenees or Anatolian Shepherds. The issue with these two breeds is a lot of them have been turned into pets vs working dogs. My concern is finding a reputable breeder that actually works the dogs, not someone who breeds them down for home life. The Karakachans, Akbash, and Kangals are almost exclusively working dogs and haven't been turned into house pets
Not GP. I had 2. Hard to train and hard to find a good dog that still has LSG instincts.
Do you have time to spend 1 to 2 hours every day training your new LSG dog? Because it will take time to train them. Be ready to lose livestock to the dog untill they are trained out of it. I lost ducks to mine.

We have the time and experience to train. Good to know on the GP. Fully expecting some losses during the training period too, as I put it too my wife "That's a business expense"

That's just wrong. How's family gonna do you like that?

At this point, I'm gonna just keep pushing forward, get the deal done, get moved...then I'm going to regroup and make the necessary repairs. At that point I'll decide how long we are going to stay there...I haven't considered this to be our permanent home from the beginning, it just might be more temporary than I was planning.

Do some repairs and some upgrades and flip it.
