I’ve said in other comments, the coyote motor is solid. And the OLD 7.3 was the best truck motor Ford produced. The new diesels have too many headaches to fuss with and the 5.4L tuck motor was garbage and had recalls for basically self destructing. No thanks . All that being said BMW isn’t known for reliability either

In a time of actual hardship, if food becomes...not scarce, but not exactly easy to get either, would the average person take gold? I don't think so....at least for me all i'd be concerned with is having enough to feed my family.

The 6.7 after the first couple of years in service have been reliable. But I’ve already had DEF issues. I plan a delete when my extended warranty is over. (Why is my phone ringing?) the 7.3 was the best.
