    Bullets Seating Crooked

I just loaded up some rounds and I made sure to make both the bell and the crimp very minimal. I work nights so I might be able to swing by the range before work this week to test them out. All I can say right now is that these rounds look a LOT better than the crooked ones I did at first...

    Bullets Seating Crooked

Thanks for this; I followed the instructions in the Hornady manual step-by-step and by the time I was looking at a tray of loaded cartridges (albeit poorly done), I had not yet reached the part of the manual that talked about the expander die. So maybe shame on me for not reading the whole...

    Bullets Seating Crooked

How do I do that? Can I adjust the sizing die to make that happen?

    Bullets Seating Crooked

I got back into reloading a few months ago and started with 10mm. I got Hornady dies and have a Lee single-stage press. The 10mm reloading went fine and I was using plated bullets. I then got some Hornady 9mm dies and tried loading with them and the bullets are mostly seating crooked. Also...

    Polymer Coated Bullets?

Do you have a preferred manufacturer (for coated or non)?

    Polymer Coated Bullets?

I'm getting back into reloading after about a 12 year hiatus and looking at what components are out there. Fortunately, I own a 10mm which doesn't seem to be overwhelmed with demand like 9mm is. It looks like cast lead bullets are the cheapest that you can get but for about 5% (or so) more...

    Someone school me

IME .22s can be weird about ammo; one 10/22 (for example) might run a load reliably while another won't. You'll have a bit of work to do figuring out which brand(s) will run in each gun. At least it's a "job" you can have fun with!

    Priming tools

It looks like RCBS has two versions, one that takes shell holders and one that doesn't need shell holders. Do you prefer one or the other?

    Priming tools

In my case, it's that I'm trying to use what I've got: a Lee single-stage. Maybe one day I'll step up to a progressive press but right now I've got what I've got.

    Priming tools

I'm getting back into handloading after being out of it for about 10 years. When I used to handload I would use a Lee Auto Prime tool and it worked great. It appears that Lee discontinued the Auto Prime and replaced it with something that is universally reviled in every review I've read...

"Big Ben Blast & Dash 2020" AAR

There were some dudes there that didn't know what they'd gotten themselves into. I didn't hear about anyone needing an IV or anything like that, but the physical challenge was no joke!

The new abnormal, or 'what color frame matches my shoes?'

Nothing has really changed for me. I have EDCed a Glock 26 and a spare 17 round mag for years. I also carry medical stuff in an ankle rig or a cargo pocket all the time. Probably overkill for the 1 or 2 muggers scenario, maybe under-gunned for the 30 violent protesters scenario but I figure...

Just HOW legal is the Magpul AFG1 on a pistol?

F Troop will kill you with fire for (allegedly) being the victim of statutory rape; you really think that the angle of your foregrip will *actually* matter if they want you to go down?

    Rattle can Camo

Interesting, I would have never thought to do that. I tried exactly one ambi safety because I didn't like my knuckle interfering with it going into Fire but I never thought to flip it like that. Next question: what's the story with the piece of cord on the takedown pins?

    Glock 43X

So will these longer mags for the G43X and G48 work with the G43? I assume so but I've heard rumblings that this isn't the case.

Is that safety lever supposed to be like that? Looks odd... Nice paint job, BTW!

    Rattle can Camo

I love rattlecanned guns. They look even better after they've been used a bunch and it's all scratched up and worn.

Should your carbine be on "safe" during a mag change?

The process that I was taught was that the AR's safety comes off when cheek-weld is established and goes back on when cheek weld is broken (there's probably exceptions to this rule that I can't think of right now). If a reload is required and there's enough distance that a transition to pistol...
