Is/Has the .40 S&W going the way of the 7mm Rem Mag?

Oh- WSM's I thought we were talking about 7mm Rem Mag- Dad still loves the old 7mm Mag round. I never got into the short, fat cases.

Is/Has the .40 S&W going the way of the 7mm Rem Mag?

This is a perfect description of the .40's I've shot at the range. One G23 and one Kahr something or other.

Is/Has the .40 S&W going the way of the 7mm Rem Mag?

I've never owned a .40S&W... but having shot a few friend's handguns, I didn't really care for it. Seemed very snappy.

How To Fake 1911 Malfunctions for Training

I have one specific memory whenever the malfunction clearing thing comes up... A couple of years ago we had a four way tie at a bowling pin match. The tie breaker was timed fire at four pins set up at 7 yards. I was shooting my G34- missed on the first or second shot and saw a stove pipe...

What goes bump in the night weapon of choice

Good God... are you out of hand grenades?

What goes bump in the night weapon of choice

Holy crap- that must have been a heck of a morning.

    Econ Fight for $15

Tag for later today... I've had a few ideas for "upgrading" these fast food jobs. In this engineer's world, the kitchen would need one person to wash down the equipment and possibly one "mechanic/technician" to reset parts and pieces should an error occur.

    SMG/MG owners

Subguns is another one, but I'm not an owner by any means. I've drooled over a few things, but well out of my actual price range unless I sell, well, nearly everything.

Kansas man's homemade gun silencers clash with federal law

I remember that from the linked article. I'm sure the powers that be will do their damnedest to crucify them both. Which is why I wouldn't want to take their place.... but I would say that they have a valid argument based on my limited understanding- and with my (totally unfounded) hope for...

Kansas man's homemade gun silencers clash with federal law

I'd agree- but I think the DEA vs. FBI thing is more about the end user vs. the supplier- the way they all explain the war on drugs garbage is going after the suppliers... or so I've been lead to believe. Maybe that's Hollywood's interpretation. And someone's youtube video threw all this...

Let's build the quietest SBR AR in 300BLK

I wish I knew more about making a quiet .3ooBLK... I'd guess ammo would be the big factor here. No first hand experience though.

    Sporting Clays

Now those would be ideal- I just pump the hell out of mine ;)

    Sporting Clays

Will either take chokes? I know I need a full choke for some of the long sporting clay shots- I just can't break the long ones with anything else. My 590 is a fixed cylinder bore, so maybe enough. Generally the bird guns are the 26" or 28" barrel length.

    PSA K47??? WTF

I'm still of the opinion the ammo makes a big difference- I wouldn't expect improvement on Tula accuracy just because of the barrel and action. Now the sight radius and options are quite a bit better on the AR platform.

    Sporting Clays

If I can make it, I'll be rolling with a Mossy 500... the cheap one! I'll even bring you a Mossy 590 mariner if you want something 'fancy' :)

    Sporting Clays

Right down the road from some friends of mine actually- let me get in touch with them and see if I can work something out- I'll give them a call and post something later.

    PSA K47??? WTF

Somebody had to do it. I'm still waiting on an analysis model to finish number crunching and give me an answer- or crash and burn.

    PSA K47??? WTF

And screw Sig for making that rifle that takes AK mags.
  19. D

    PSA K47??? WTF

I had no idea that was the point of those weird looking lowers. So and AR with a donkey dong AK mag hanging out of it... This would be for the AR that Self Identifies as Eastern European I guess?

Kansas man's homemade gun silencers clash with federal law

I'll be interested to follow this case through the appeals process... It could potentially deal a blow to that whole "interstate commerce" crap. That said, I would not have put my own ass on the line- not in this situation.
