Econ Sears is 'set to sink'

Good God- they have already bought most of the "names" I've trusted. Damn- I always thought Whack and Pecker had gone away. Clearly not... I can't believe the Irwin saw blades I've been buying were funneling money back to B&D (and apparently Stanley). What's in a name anymore.

    Name a firearm

Never owned a Mosin or SKS. I was about to buy an SKS once, but the guy said it was $450 and I immediately turned around and walked out of the store (thanks Chuck's Gun and Pawn- I have never bothered to go back).

Econ Sears is 'set to sink'

Well, I hope they treat the name with more respect than Kmart/Sears did... I only say that because I have a ton of their hand tools and would like someone to honor the warranty with at least a comparable new product. That said, I'm pretty happy with the Kobalt hand tool set I won at the wife's...

    HPA reintroduced

I'm good with Aluminum too- I was just envisioning cheap and effective. Silicone liners for heat resistance, heck, I imagine you could run some kind of plastic shell. The money in this (@DoglegArms ) is going to be in the cheap everyday cans that don't require a threaded barrel. I can imagine...

    HPA reintroduced

I would love to see the HPA pass. I really believe you'd see "silencers" in blister packs for $30 right next to the cheap Bushnell scopes. I can see a super light, 100% plastic can that is literally disposable. Once it's dirty or gets a little too hot, you just trash it and get another one...

    Favorite AR-15 magazine

Damn. That's bad. I haven't had issues with too many mags- but I have seem PMAGs fail to feed (pretty well used, but still). I don't shoot enough (as in thousands of rounds per year) to really have a good feel for a magazine evaluation. For my 100 round range trips, the metal mags (Stoner...

    Micro cans

Micro cans seem to sacrifice size for parts... like @NWS said- most of the micros operate with a wipe that has to be replaced often- like per 5 or 10 rounds often.

CMC Triggers To Unveil Glock Trigger

Maybe I need to try someone's Glock with a "good" trigger in it... I've only put in the minus connectors on my G34 and G17. Those seemed to make a ton of difference- enough that I was happy. I don't like triggers under about 4 pounds on rifles, and probably that or a pound or two more on...

    A well carried Holster

I love my old Glaco. Need one for the P99 now... bought a BS cheap holster and it's a real POS.

Feeling quite lucky. Squib in my SBR

Like everybody else said- I'm impressed with their response. I'm glad I have more Wolf than Tula... I don't generally shoot a lot of it, but at matches were I can't pick up my brass (and it's a hit-the-target match, not a bulls eye match) I always take the steel cased stuff.

    Which gas block???

This is what I had to do back during the scarce times... I had a 0.625" barrel (lightweight) and could not find anything in stock other than a Valtor low pro gas block- to the tune of $90. I decided Mr. Bandsaw could solve that problem for me.

    Branding Kydex Holsters

Heat up one of those SET coins and see how it works on some thin kydex. Rivet the logo'd piece to whatever. You will probably want the negative image of the coin so the logo will be right, but this is just a test.

    CZ Kaboom

Out of battery- the raised ring at the base of the brass is a give away. The brass blew out at the weak point. And I do not agree with the article- the loaded rounds cannot be weighed to determine the powder charge weight. There's a lot of variation in the weight of 9mm brass cases.

    Stripped Lower... Now What?!?!?

My 5.56 pistol is a 10.5". I wouldn't go shorter personally. That one of mine was uncomfortable to shoot until I added the KX-3 "flash hider" to it. Now it's fine. Just remember the US military went with 14.7" for a reason.

    Wait.... What just happened.

Oops... dang new guys running the packing machines

Thinking about going optic-less on my SBR

My biggest issue with the fixed Troy sights I was using is the lack of elevation adjustment at the rear sight. My SPECWAR drops the point of impact about 6MOA (6" at 100 yards) and I don't want to screw with the front sight pin every time I switch from suppressed to unsuppressed. Or have to...

Thinking about going optic-less on my SBR

I've had EO Techs and other red dots in the past.... Got rid of most of them because I shoot the irons better at anything over 50 yards. And under 50 yards, it really makes no difference except that I'm slightly faster with the red dot. It's still basically point and shoot at "close" ranges...

    Shooting Ourselves in the Genitals

Gemtech makes sickles? Right? I agree with where you're coming from here- but I'd guess that shirt design came from a bunch of guys that work at a suppressor manufacturer and have watched a lot of sons of anarchy.
