    Rimfire Deals

I was just kidding... I shot NRA small bore with an old Mossberg bolt action and a fixed Leupold 10x scope.

    F*@k monocores

Ah- yeah, I don't know those troubles... I can't dip mine and don't have stainless pins for the tumbler. Last cleaning, I just removed what I could with Hoppe's and some wood scrapers. It got fairly clean, definitely not new, but the bulk of the crud chipped off. I'm just going to shoot it...

    What can do I need?

I've suppressed every caliber that I really care to at this point- I might look at a mini pistol caliber can at some point, but for now, I'm good. Until someone shows me something that makes me think otherwise. My skirt hasn't been blown up by a suppressor in awhile.

    Long Range Muzzle Device

I just leave my SPECWAR on all the time- unless I'm shooting a new load or new ammo. Then I'll run a few through just the brake to make sure the load is stable and shoots basically as it should before I'll run it through the can. That can causes about a 6 MOA shift downward. I'm looking...

    Taran Tactical base pads...

This is where me and some of the guys at work will try to build up a Midway/Aim/Where ever order and split the shipping costs. I need some high AR scope rings at the moment, but I'm not ordering just the scope rings because shipping is too much dang money.

    Project Gun

Sounds like a fun project. I've always heard that the Mosins are built like a tank, literally. I've just never messed around with those actions/barrels.

    Project Gun

Nice project! The rifle looks to be really clean, even if it was sporterized. I've never messed around with a Mauser or Mosin. For that matter, I have almost no experience with pre WWII bolt guns. I'll be interested to follow this story as it develops-

    Hi-Point Carbine Disassembly (Video)

Heck, I owned an older model of the hi-point carbine and I didn't know you could take it that far apart. Bought it used and never bothered to try and find instructions on disassembly. I sprayed it out a time or two before I sold it. Always shot fine, more or less- I did have some failure to...

    Glock 20 gen4

The G20's are fun... I had a Gen 3 for a short time. Sold it because I didn't want to buy all the reloading stuff for 10mm. @karlvv ... just do it ;) You've got spare beer money now

A typical rifle barrel is worn out in 5-10 seconds of use

Interesting for sure- Although I'm still going to measure barrel life in shots, and my shots per week average out to a rather low number.

NFA and gun trust questions regarding moving/change of address.

Jump through the hoops and pay it all up front... then, much later, when you've forgotten about it someone will call you out of the blue. And then it's like "Yes! This is awesome! I completely don't remember (or feel like) I spent any money on this thing and now it's mine."

Nice- I need to put together another car bag. Sounds like it's got a good shot at working for ya-

NFA and gun trust questions regarding moving/change of address.

I've been thinking about (and talking myself out of) SBR'ing an AR lower for a couple of years now. I might finally do it since the rules have finally become more strict.

NFA and gun trust questions regarding moving/change of address.

My very limited experience tells me that you don't have to update much. I know once a lower receiver is engraved, it doesn't matter if you move- it can just move with you so long as it's not across state lines.

NFA and gun trust questions regarding moving/change of address.

Yeah... after you've been a member for awhile, you end up with a dozen or more passes. I invite people all the time just to make some room in my ID badge pocket.

Ruger American 9mm Pistol | Lets check it out! (Video)

I've always liked Ruger pistols- granted some were bricks, but all shot accurately and reliably for me. Good video- it appears to shoot just fine! I don't think I've ever handled a Ruger American in person. Seen a few in the gun case and the price was right for sure. I've gone back and...

    "Battle belt" recommendations

I don't know much about them honestly, but the couple guys I know who do real training classes have belts with a H harness or whatever it's called. The closest I can come is a 5.11 chest rig/mag carrier that I got for a steal of a deal on bushcraft usa's website- those guys don't do tactical...
