New .22 Nosler Cartridge for AR Platform

I remember talking to Dad about the .22-250 since that was one of my first (self chosen) rifles. His comments were related to the shoulder angle and relatively short neck on the .22-250 brass. Basically, the shoulder angles intersect at a point outside of the case neck, focusing the "blast" on...

New .22 Nosler Cartridge for AR Platform

https://www.nosler.com/blog/news-and-articles/2017/1/15/nosler-delivers-faster-cartridge-for-the-ar-15the-22-nosler Ok, so I had no idea this even existed until Midway's morning sale email showed up. Apparently this is a modified 6.8 SPC cartridge necked down to .22 caliber. The link above...

A good time was had by all

That's awesome- one of the things I regret during my time at a Japanese company is that I didn't take any of those guys shooting. One in particular I think would have really enjoyed a range trip. I was young and didn't realize it at the time. I do recall Kobayashi asking me once "Do you have...

    FN PS90 | 5.7x28 Bullpup Carbine

Good to have a first hand opinion. I handled one at the range back when they were 'new' but didn't shoot it. I remember the weight and feel were good in my opinion.

    FN PS90 | 5.7x28 Bullpup Carbine

Good video- honestly, I can't listen to most people talk about guns for very long because they start to annoy the hell out of me. Your video was much better- I can watch the whole thing. (Just being honest-) And I'm glad to see the breakdown included in the review. I love bullpup style...

Nah- I've ordered lots of little parts from Numrich over the years. They are king of the gun "pick and pull" yard. I don't know where they get their parts, but damn, they seem to have almost everything.

Oh- and I'd be sending the replacement barrel to Tornado Technologies assuming they still thread barrels. I have never used them, but some reputable members of the old place used them with good results.

Looks like replacement barrels aren't that expensive or hard to find.... Cut the replacement barrel and thread on the can! Keep the original and switch back if there's ever an issue. Looks like the new barrel is cheaper than most places would thread one...

    Tips On Removing Paint

What he said.... and I'd probably start with some good ol' Hoppes and see what happens. Maybe mineral spirits as a second try.

Can we talk about KGmade's new 9mm integral?

Well now.... I'd better dump that PSA 9mm upper before the price drops much more... I think I'd really like one of these to add a stock to the AR9 and avoid the second stamp. Not to mention freeing up a can.

    .308 ammo

Now this is highly interesting to me.... I've been hunting for .308 Winchester subsonic loads and haven't found anything other than recipes using Trail Boss- which is expensive and dang hard to find. Tite Group on the other hand... heck, I've got 4 pounds of it at home. And a big old box of...
