Getting shot in the head with 50AE

He's researching in the wrong places. Either Halo or Gears of War or some other video game the kids are playing surely has the answer- and a realistic testing environment for him to carry out experiments. Jeeze. Guess American kids aren't the only ones who are lazy.

    Barrel Break In

I've seen this tossed around many times. I'm going to go with Dad's opinion- barrel break in was invented by the Benchrest barrel manufacturers. A Benchrest barrel has a lifespan of several hundred shots. If the manufacturers could get the benchrest shooters to burn 50+ rounds on a break in...

Just Ordered this PSAK-47 GB2 Barreled Receiver with Matched Bolt, Carrier, Dust Cover and Gas Tube

Nice- I'm not really into AKs so much, but the build looks really good and sounds like it works just fine- nice project!

Eye Protection? Pffft, who needs it.

Dammit I have got to be more clear on the internet. ;)

Eye Protection? Pffft, who needs it.

Gotcha- crazy series of errors to lead up to that- just glad it's a good story with no ER doctors photos.

Eye Protection? Pffft, who needs it.

Damn guys- If I get injured at the range, just let me bleed awhile.

Eye Protection? Pffft, who needs it.

This is one of the reasons I will not let anyone else have my reloads. Sold my sister my last .357... now I have a thousand reloaded rounds with nothing to shoot them out of (until I get another .357) Glad you're ok man-

    Glock 20sf

I had a Gen 3 G20 for awhile- cool ass round for making steel plates go "KKOONNGG"... it's about the same grip as a G21 in my opinion- pretty big, but not unmanageable.

New Remington Pistol Doesnt Look Promising

My first semiauto .22 was a nylon 66. Still have it. I'd like to say it was my "first gun" but my Granddad bought a Springfield .22 bolt action for me when I was about five. Neighbors had a fit according to my Grandmother. I had a ball.

    Which overpriced gun?

No- can't get behind the P7. I used to want one badly, but after realizing the gas chamber is right by the trigger/trigger guard and @Hoss post about how hot the pistol got (quickly, if I remember correctly) they're not useful as a range toy nor are they good for carry. No need to fondle that...

    Which overpriced gun?

Well, since you've got a plan for the MK23- I'd go with that one personally. It's damn sure unique. And threaded, which is a plus for me.

    Which overpriced gun?

Or of course you could always get a pair of S&W 500's and dual wield the bastards.

    Which overpriced gun?

If it were me, either Wilson or Gun Crafter or something similar... the MK 23 is a huge freaking pistol. Cool as hell, but I can't think of anything I'd do with it besides a little range shooting and fondling at night. If I were just looking for range and fondling in a freaking huge pistol...

New Remington Pistol Doesnt Look Promising

Cool- looks like a Ruger with a huge freaking "R" on the side. Only it's probably 50% more expensive and 50% as reliable. I didn't watch the video- not that interested in anything that's been made by Remington in the past five or so years.

    Rebel SOS 22 Silencer Review

I also have CCI .22LR subs- lots of them. Not much else in the way of factory subsonic ammo. I do have some .300BLK MAST factory subs though. Something like this would definitely require factory subs for consistency/repeat-ability for the general public watching the video.
