The former. The Purple Gang (aka the Sugar Hill Gang) were Jewish gentlemen in Detroit who, during Prohibition, bootlegged whiskey in from Canada & hijacked other bootleggers. Supplied most of All Capone's whiskey he sold in Chicago.

when it rains it fucking poors. literally this fucking time. Never had a leak in this house and wife just called me that "i know somethign is fucked up" tone. i walked in the bathroom to see water dripping from the fucking light bulb, i guess this monsoon found its fucking way in somefucking how annnddd rain for the next two fucking days so getting on the roof to try and find this bullshit is gonna be greatttttt
