That sale was authorized by IWI. IWI relabeled 7.62x39 and 308 rifles as blems and sold them thru Classic and SMGS.
There is no guarantee they will do it again.
If it were me, I would hold off and whip out the old CC, if IWI does it again.
On another hand, I took advantage of that sale last year, and, unless they put 5.56 on sale, I will pass it this time around
Sadly I can’t do that with my CC. I avoid gun purchases on there. I’m a poor fireman lol so normally I’ve to sale a gun to get a gun. Or in this case, 2

In that case, MAK 90 can be replaced easily. MISR, not so much.

I also would look at what other AKs you have. MAADI was valued because it was made on the line set-up by the Soviets, and was made on the Soviet-provided tooling. At the time of MAADI imports it was the closest thing to Soviet AKM.
If you have a Saiga, there is no reason for a MAADI, (unless it is one of Steyer-barreled ones). You have a true Soviet/Russian AK.

But it is all my opinion only. I am the guy without any Yugo rifles, since they do not chrome-plate the bores. I grew up shooting CHF-CL AKs, I cannot own one without it.

PS On another hand, my Galils will be the last AKs I will ever sell. SGL21, SAM7SF, 107fr and Veprs will go before Galils will. It is that good.

should have been specific. It’s a maadi MISR 90. Egyptian/Chinese bastard lmao. As a collector people have it. But it has been as reliable as any other ak I have.

Could always build a Yugo kit up with a chrome lined barrel. Works great with M67 ball.

Police Academy students.
Letter "K" stands for Kursant, a military or police academy student. Army, AF and Navy academy students also have K on their shoulder pads.
Milititsiya and now Police always had mouse colored shirts.
And you can see Police emblem on the shoulder pads, a circle with 2 sheathed swords.
I need an IMMEDIATE transfer to the Russian Police!
