Yuck just lake a bunch of you.
No power but did save my frozen stuff as I took my small freezer over to MIL’s house and plugged it in earlier.
Luckily most of my stuff is freeze dried in storage buckets or Canned food and dry goods in sealed 5 gal buckets.

Can't stand cold showers... I was very poor at one point and the Hot water heater went out, and I learned that if you fill up the tub, and let the water warm up all day, it's better than a cold shower. My wife on the other hand will be pissed if she can't take a hot bath at night before bed.

A couple 5 gallon buckets with lids on in the sun will warm up pretty well for a bath, as long as it's not super cold outside.

Hour 27 with no power, at least it's not too hot to sleep in the house, we open a couple of windows and it gets pretty cold at night in the house. Looks like I'll be grilling everything I can today and tomorrow.

Y'all have LP, or natural gas? We had an ice storm here in 2007 that shut everything down for a week. (3 weeks in some areas!)

No electric, but we had hot water, and a stove to cook on. Wasn't terrible. It was freezing in the garage, so I threw a few blankets over the deep freeze and all was well. Wife had killed an elk the week before, it was all in the freezer except for 12-15 pounds that was marinating for jerky when power went out.

I brought my dehydrator to work, and would start a batch at 5AM and let it run all day. (we have generator power here) Got all the jerky done, but man, smelling that all day will make you slobber!

Almost 29 hours and still no power.
Guess after this is over and they start listing the like new generators on marketplace I will pick one up.
