It connects the connector to the crucible I think. I haven't had a Glock in years but I remember that being an issue bc I always changed out the connector. If you don't put the spring in the correct way, it won't have the right tension and fail to reset...
Gotcha
I flipped the spring to see if it would make a difference and it still doesn't reset. I'm about to go back to the factory connector. I'm now an expert at quick Glock slide assembly and disassembly.
