At a $900 MSRP I think that's a solid deal on a solid rifle. It has all the things I like in an AK...Made in the Motherland, HFCL Barrel plus the added Bulged Trunnion. Definitely a competitor in the below $1000 AK market (WBP, WASR/SAR-1) and a better buy than any of the US made AKs. If I were looking to add to my AK stable I would be considering this and the WBP.

The barrel is real-deal Serbian also you think?

Hell yeah! New scope for the .22 I got from @Rabbit2047 came today. I'm into this thing for less than $200 with the scope, red dot and mount that I have for it also, and the bipod. I'm gonna make a sling for it outta paracord that I already have. Kinda excited to see what this thing will do. I'm not expecting a lot out of it but 2" groups at 50 yards with some CCI Stingers would be awesome out of this thing.

They chrome line their hammer forged pistol barrels so they definitely have the equipment and know how.
I can't imagine it would be more cost effective to import barrels than hammering them out and chrome lining them on your own equipment.
I'm about 100% sure they are born in Serbia,

And 45 minutes after my scope came from Amazon USPS dropped off my AK parts from Carolina Shooters Supply.

Ram Tactical extended mag release...

Haven't put it on yet because I don't feel like fucking with drilling out the pin and fitting the mag catch right now. Also have some talon grip tape to put on the paddles.

And my 74 style brake came too. I been wanting one of these to put on when my son shoots my AK but I kinda dig the look of it on there. Might need to see if I can find somebody to weld me on a front bayonet lug(since Century either ground off the front bayo lug or they never came with one?) so I can run my Tula Bakelite bayonet once it finally comes in.

Everyone saying no for that screw build 74? Part kits are 850 if you can find one

I offered cheap cash and he at least answered me and said my offer was to low and was not offended, I said I was making my offer based on this being just a parts kit and I would take it back apart and build it back with rivets.

Cool, cool...that's what I expected but I trust your judgment also, you knew where I was coming from with that question! :)

I know sometimes ppl will weld a small blob on there and reprofile the bayo lug. Looks like most of it is still left on yours?
