Crazy AR mag... slide open front cover

True story- I was at the range with a friend of mine several years ago and I saw him loading an AR mag like it was a pistol mag- sliding the rounds in from the front. I was like "no, no no- watch this" and showed him how to press the rounds in from the top- then he had this "WTF have I been...

Crazy AR mag... slide open front cover

Ok... I'd never seen these before today: https://cammenga.com/product/magazines/30-round-easy-mag/ They say loading and cleaning are the "pros"... I'm not sure this is a good idea at all.

    Gauging interest

I'm not sure if that came off wrong or not- I wasn't implying that you're holsters are for internet neck beards... just that they do buy a lot of shit they probably don't use ;) You're holsters look very good. And I'd say more options (value-added or whatever they call it in marketing) will...

    Gauging interest

While I agree with that statement, I think from a marketing sales standpoint- this one is a winner. I'd venture to guess that 7 out of 10 holsters sold don't actually get EDC'd. And you show an internet gun shopper this one vs. the one with one carry option, I believe the internet gun shopper...

    SBR lower

Looks like Strider beat me to it- I'd order more stuff from them, but they don't have much inventory.

    SBR lower

Ok- Those guys are incredible. I ordered a few of those mags Friday evening and they're sitting on my desk right now. I'm impressed.

    Dammit!

I messed up one of the address fields, well, the webpage crashed so often, I got careless checking everything again and again. I had to search that bank account for $200 transactions to find it. Yeah- check went out Jan 29, refunded July 18. I was over estimating a little- approximately six...

    SBR lower

Don't know- maybe true for their new Glock mag lowers. The New Frontier lower recommends using their upper only- there's no bolt hold open on the lower if I'm remembering correctly- it's on their Upper.

    SBR lower

Oh- I forgot... some people install set screws through the sides of the AR lower mag well- by drilling and tapping holes in the lower. I didn't do that with the PSA block. I just dropped it in (with the bolt catch removed). It rattles like a bitch, but feeds fine. Surprisingly.

    SBR lower

Dang... Thanks for posting that! I didn't know about them. I'll have to get a little pile of those.

    Dammit!

Yeah- and I haven't tried again since that little BS fiasco.

    SBR lower

You can use a conversion block with any standard AR lower (PSA has one- so do some others like quarter circle ten; actually I think QCTen has their own full lower). I did this one my AR9. Then I bought a glock mag lower from Dog Leg Arms, because I have Glock mags and didn't want to spend...

    Dammit!

Been there- and did that. By the way, the refund takes like eight months to show up in your bank account.

    Opinions Needed

Love bullpups... particularly if they can make the trigger mechanism work without gritty/spongy linkages (I don't know how the Tavor is set up) For that size rifle, 9mm makes a lot of sense to me- it's also much more pleasant to shoot than .223. Not as loud and less recoil- not to mention cheap.

    Help me name my lowers

The only thing I can think of is to allow yourself some model numbers for R&D... i.e. start the commercial numbers at 1000 or 100 or something over 1.

    Help me name my lowers

Been thinking on this one and I can't come up with anything more creative than what's already posted. Unless something like "WOOF-1XXX" sounds good to you.

    Fine Art

Interesting... I'm not really an art fan, but those are pretty good looking. I did like Dali at one time and went to museum in Tampa (ok- there was a chick involved in that trip/interest).
