Do you still have a factory Glock rear sight laying around somewhere? Just for the hell of it, I'd see how it fits.

Just saw this... I've got the same sights on a G17. No issues with loose fit. If it's the slide and not the sights, I would think you can peen the edge of the dovetail a little to get a better bite.

If I can make it work (depending on the weekend) I'd love to take you up on that offer- I'd be very happy to pay for gas and lunch just to keep the extra miles off my old truck.

Yeah... I'm afraid of that- If it's not comfortably over 16" (like at least 16.25"), I'm going to find a longer barrel.

Same as chicks do- only consider the barrel length. :)

Yeah- I'm really not sure about my 10.5 until I have the can in hand. I'll put it on and see what it measures to the bolt face- I hope it's there, but if not I'll be shopping for a longer barrel. Or maybe a thread spacer if it's really, really close.

Mmmmm... I like the way you think. I blew mine with @DoglegArms on a new Grunt M. I think it's going to get pinned and welded to my 10.5 upper (provided the minimum length is met). That should make the two stamper a single stamp and accomplish all the same wants of mine.

Good video- and I see your school is in Marietta... One question comes to mind... would you recommend a general carry class/some other training before the close quarters class? I've taken no formal classes before, so I'm curious as to what you'd recommend.

I really doubt you'd be happy with 22mag through a suppressor. It would probably sound about like an non-suppressed .22LR.

I generally have good results with AutoMatch through the 10/22 also (If I'm remembering that correctly- I usually shoot CCI Subs through that rifle)

I've said this before... when I got my first can (Guardian 9), I didn't have any subsonic 9mm ammo. So I went to the range with the regular old 115 grain 9mm I had on hand. After shooting three rounds thought it, my first thought was "why the hell did I buy this thing?" Ears ringing a little...

Hard to narrow it down to three... I guess that's the point. The roles I'd like to fill would be small game hunting, 200 yard or so defense, and concealed carry. Probably a few more things I'm not thinking about too. I guess that leaves me with my 10/22, an AR rifle in .223, and a 9mm pistol...

I can't tell from the picture, but that looks like it might be attached using set screws on the bottom of the gas block (only because I don't see taper pins on the sides of the block). Tell us a little more about the upper (maker, type, etc)- maybe the specs are available somewhere. Set screws...

That was my only thought reading the thread- obviously I'm not up to date on other folks' stamps.

I'm guessing everyone assumes you have the approved Form 1 in hand before doing any chopping.

I forgot about the G17 pics. It's not as noticeable with the suppressor height sights, but still there.
