Ruger Service Six frame Python barrel S&W rear sight A Cougar or Cuger. Popular conversion in the late 1970's. The Ruger frame is stronger than a Colt or S&W, the Python barrels are very accurate, and S&W had the best rear sight design.

    Magpul Remington 700

They're good stocks and definite upgrade to the cheap factory Tupperware, or the overly flexible Hogue stock. Not near as good as a Manners, McMillan, or one of the chassis systems, but a lot less money. You're looking at $500 and up for a McMillan, and that doesn't include another $250 or so...

    Colt Revolvers.... coming back!

I've read where Colt's CEO has stated that in order nowadays to make a Python with the fit and finish of the days of yore, they would have to retail for $4k. Long story short, I bought my 2.5" Python unfired, in the box, with the papers and original receipt for $450 in 1995. Gorgeous gun, I...

I'm looking forward to trying one out. I've paid twice as much for a 9mm that held half as many rounds, and the mags were expensive anyways. If I liked it enough, I'd buy one.
