Something came and took my rabbit from the barn last night. Couldn't find any tracks but the door must not have latched because it was wide open.

As much as you want fur get 2 or 3 of those leg hold traps. The raccoons stick there leg in the trap to get the bait .it will hold them till you get there in the morning. I have a buddy with a lot of chickens .he catches about 3 raccoons a week

Got the Damn Ball out and it was not hard to do.
I made a Ball removal rod at work tonight.

Barrel is Perfect and now it is clean and the wood on this thing is Awesome.
Can not wait to shoot this nice Black Powder Rifle.
Just do not have any 45 Cal Lead Bullets for it Yet.
GR Douglas Barrels were made in the 50's to 70's I think.
But I do know GR Douglas Barrels were sought after for their accuracy.

Holy cow that's a lot of racoons! I have two of the normal live traps that I've had good success with in the past. I'm gonna put them out with some cat food tonight after work

It was 100% not them, I have been in and out of all of barn doors multiple times after you all were here. I ran an extension cord out of the front door last night for the mules trough heater and I'm positive that's why it didn't latch all the way
