Leaving Statham to go to Forest park to pick up my Browning 380 1911, then Danielsville to sell that Savage 29A, then Cornelia to try and buy the 1816, Kubur, and unknown US muzzle loader, then back to Statham, eat dinner then millidgeville and Dublin for work tonight.

Lots of miles today.....

Thanks! It was my first SBR back in the day, kind of wanted to model it after the IDF “hush puppy” but started liking it better with the red dot on it

I took an OG fake-stained 10/22 wood stock and chopped the nose off with a miter saw. Then I sanded the shit outta it for months waiting on my stamp to approve, applying boiled linseed once a day for 30 days, then once a week for a month, then once A month until approval now I do it about once a year to maintain.

It gets a better and better hue every year and feels baby smooth. It had that dark “walnut” stain on it to begin with and after knocking it all off I really liked the real colors underneath.

I got a Sig .22 can in the bag I use with it and she’s Quiet as can be!

The parking is extremely tight there. Like 5 spots In front of the restaurant. I try and pull a somewhat “fast” one and parked in a white line crossed out section in front of the door. I see some lady looking at me kinda weird, I get out and this black guy is staring at me sitting in a car I parked next too. He starts to tell me I parked in a no go zone and I look on his lap and this dudes has a loaded handgun on his lap with a extended mag sticking out of it. He wasn’t aggressive or anything so I kept my cool and just moved the truck. Really hard parking there. I have to admit my heart fluttered for a good min when I saw that gun. He had his dome light on so it was in plain sight and he was parked literally 2 feet from the front door. Made me kinda realize how fast someone can come up with a gun when you least expect to see one
