Lmao! I still drive a Mustang!

Glad to have helped! It sounded like you had the same issue I had and that's what I had to do to mine.
lol, all in good fun Mr. Stang; I respect the mustang drivers, but being a vette guy, I instinctively had to talk some stupid shit .... just like if you were a Michigan fan, I'd have to talk shit as a Buckeye ;)

You guys might get a kick outta this... so I went tonight, around 11pm (working nights this week) to pick up a to go order at Taco Mac off Highland Ave. the old school one. The parking is extremely tight there. Like 5 spots In front of the restaurant. I try and pull a somewhat “fast” one and parked in a white line crossed out section in front of the door. I see some lady looking at me kinda weird, I get out and this black guy is staring at me sitting in a car I parked next too. He starts to tell me I parked in a no go zone and I look on his lap and this dudes has a loaded handgun on his lap with a extended mag sticking out of it. He wasn’t aggressive or anything so I kept my cool and just moved the truck. Really hard parking there. I have to admit my heart fluttered for a good min when I saw that gun. He had his dome light on so it was in plain sight and he was parked literally 2 feet from the front door. Made me kinda realize how fast someone can come up with a gun when you least expect to see one

Copy that, I'm not a fan of carry-handle mounts as it's too high for my weld, I' was tempted to pick one of those up, but I haven't researched enough to review reticle types, was just curious if they were worth the coin. I'm wanting to grab another red dot, but want to try something other than Eotech / Aimpoint

I just reread this and realized you were talking about the high cheekweld...with a standard carry handle mount, yes. With the gooseneck, it's absolute cowitness. And you can look over the rear sight to acquire the dot, you don't have to look through it to pick it up.

I prefer the mount straight to the pic rail as you initially posted, but yeah, I see what you mean now.
