Mosins were cheap cheap cheap. (I bought a 44 with a laminated stock, sling, oiler, etc..for a hundred dollar bill)

I bought Turkish 98 Mausers for 39.99 a piece, covered in cosmo, some were rough, some were good.

Gun shows don't even resemble what they looked like back then. I miss drooling over the really nice mil-surp stuff that was around.

Later on K31s were 100, walnut stocked ones ran about 150.

Dammit. Those were the good old days, and we didn't even know it.

9 Days until closing. I cannot wait to get out of our current place. Wife is on board with getting two donkeys since they make good protection for the other animals against coyotes and don't need to be trained like a livestock guardian dog.

Looks like I'm gonna have cocks and ass now boys.
