Well...I thi k there's a problem with this AMD. It appears the top rail is damaged...the shiny portion pictured is nearly knife sharp. Think it will cause a problem?

Heat it up in your oven overnight...shouldn't be an issue...

Actually WD-40 is supposed to do a good job. It's a great solvent.

No idea. There's no damage on the carrier....except the tail is mushroomed to hell.

Looks like somebody took a Dremel or a file to it......I'm with @Peanut Butter on this one, I would send it back if I could.

Same happened to me with a used vehicle...it is what it is. Maybe you can get it welded up and then file it back down to replace the missing metal?
