Interesting, may do a little research. Need to get some reviews on it.

Only modification I have made is to the buffer, on the AR. My scar 17 has a gas switch up front.

Not really sure of the theory behind it...

I run a WAR upper and it greatly reduces the blowback

That is the reason I want to see some, real time reviews on it..Can't really wrap my mind around why.

No not at all, you will always get a bolt cycle noise..you can quiet it down some, with an Edidine buffer. I do some 223 subsonic loads that are scary quiet..But they will not cycle the bolt..Just wonder what this new bolt is supposed to do.

Are you talking about turning it in to a "bolt" gun, so you don't get the cycle action noise?
I had a ruger sr556 that basically did that with the gas system. 0-setting dumped all gas and did not send any of it back to the bolt carrier. was kinda cool to me

I have those also, but I like loading and playing with the subsonic 223, I am working on some 308 experiments now

It seems like am more user friendly version of the adjustable gas key.

I still prefer systems like the Noveske switch block or adjustable systems found on Adams Arms.

Come to the meet and greet next month, and I'll have some..I use the 55 Hornady, with Trail Boss. I don't discuss power amounts..Unless it is in print from a manufacturer
