    Two New Glocks Coming

About the only thing that interests me is the flared magwell and front cut out to strip mags on the Gen 5. Front serrations are worthless in my opinion and people tend to replace the factory sights with a quality set of their preference anyway so why drive the price up by including metal sights....

    AR9 alternatives

I picked up a Scorpion carbine earlier this year. Other than the factory trigger being absolutely terrible, I love it! Fortunately the HBI trigger spring kit is cheap and easy to do. Dropped the 9+ pound trigger down to around 5.5-6 pounds. With its growing popularity I am hoping Geissele will...

Several Current Bills regarding Concealed Carry in Ohio Legislature

Thanks for the updates Zenas.  I will give it to the State of Ohio.  That have done a good job over the years of making smalls, yet meaningful changes for the better to the concealed carry laws.

What is the best way to train for one handed shooting?

To echo above, practice, practice, and practice some more.  I would also suggest getting some quality training if and instruction if possible.  There are a lot of details that go into good one handed shooting and hand switching.  The video above is a good starting point and Chris Cerino knows...

Best available self defense ammo for revolvers

You can't rely on walls to stop bullets.  While it would likely slow the bullet down significantly, anything for .380 and up will likely penetrate.  Best option to avoid wall penetration is to ensure quality, and accurate, hits on target.  Even then, there is always a chance of a thru & thru...

Do i need to get a tax stamp for every nfa item i want?

The tax stamp would be specific to the suppressor.  They run on serial number.  You could put it on whatever gun you wanted.  I have a SilencerCo Specwar 556K with the quick attach mounting system on 3 of my AR's so I can swap between them when necessary. 1 suppressor = 1 tax stamp.

Holster causing pants to fall, how can i keep pants up??

It's all about the belt. I use ones made by The Beltman that I ordered through Gunner's Alley.  Good reinforced gun belt makes all the difference in the world.

How is everyone storing their ammo?

"Cool, dry place in an appropriate container" Metal ammo cans in a room with a dedicated dehumidifier sorted by caliber.

What else do you carry besides a firearm?

Gun, spare mag, either Hinderer XM-18 or Benchmade 9100 folding knife, Hinderer tactical pen, TDI design Last Ditch Knife made Ka-Bar in my wallet, and flashlight.  About 50% of the time I'll carry a backup weapon on me as well.

    Best carry pistol for females

I know we won't agree on the .380/9mm thing, which is fine of course.  As for the potential for a 25yd shot......it all depends on the circumstances.  General concealed carry, no.....not something you are going to do in the course of "normal' self defense if there is such a thing.  As an...

    Best carry pistol for females

My wife, along with several other female shooters I know, really like the G42.  While it is .380acp, they much prefer it to the G43.  The reduction in recoil and ease of shooting is worth the drop from 9mm to .380acp (I understand this is a matter of opinion).  I pocket carry my G42 quite often...

SB 199 - Concealed Carry Modifications Goes In To Effect Soon

As usual, T.L Jones hit it on the head.  Conspicuous and Knowingly are the keys.  An example I often use is our local shopping mall.  Several individual stores do not have posted "No Carry" signage.  However, every entrance directly into the "mall" portion which connects the individual stores...

    Hudson Mfg. H9

Everything I see says they are set to be available Spring 2017. MSRP is $1,147.  Very interesting design, but steep price to pay. Edit: The price may be worth it once I finally get my hands on one and shoot it!

    Hudson Mfg. H9

That is the interesting thing about the H9, from my understanding the trigger design is similar to a 1911 in that it is a straight back pull trigger bar, but the trigger itself has a safety built in much like a Glock, XD, M&P.  Which in theory should allow for a safe carry condition, with a more...
