Ive run into the same thing with stores. They seem super excited, talk about how much they want your stuff, then they will never return a call. Its odd, but part of it I guess. Keep after them, they might just be real busy and forgot about it though.

A friend of mine makes holsters, and one similar to yours is one of his most popular model. He literally cant make enough of them. Go for it man. It would be a great avenue for some side bucks. As saturated as the market is, it seems like everyone is still super busy.

They are great guns, but the grip angle is steeper than I am used to. I end up shooting over the target if I lose track of the sights.

The first upper I ever put together was a x39, using a barrel and bolt from AR Performance. I sold it to a friend years ago. I threw it on our m16 lower last week and it ran through a mag like a scalded dog.

Keep it, so when after you shoot it 1000's of times, you can pop the non threaded barrel back in and put it on the ODT as new in box with no Smiley's and list it for $50 over retail #postcount
