Depending on the color fill material (and assuming it's on the slide metal only) I might go after it with some lacquer thinner. I know the current EPA regards lacquer thinner as terrible stuff, but it seems to remove everything other than cured two part epoxy. Mineral spirits might do fine...

Well, a baffle strike looks to be pretty catastrophic. Thankfully the serial numbered part is the blast baffle that appears to be a solid 1/4" thick (aluminum) material. If it were cheap and there were no tax stamp, I might consider it. But there look like a ton of other options out there...

I like my Harris bipods, but I got rid of the one with the swivel. I only shoot off of benches and not uneven terrain, so the swivel was just a hassle for me. I could never get it tight enough for my liking- I'd say that @cmshoot 's recommendation for the knob upgrade might fix my complaint...

I'm a really big fan of the P99. I would assume the grips are similar. I'll have to check out the SR22. I've often looked at the Walther P380 for similar reasons- but dang the ammo is pricey.
