I had a P64 that was great too. Never carried it, but a fun range gun. 9x18 didn't survive my caliber consolidation.

@NWS did a thread awhile back where he drilled a hole in the side of the charging handle... I did the same thing and it helped a lot in my 16" suppressed AR.

This uis s what I was ggoing to say... and that Lyman makes nice peep sights. I have dad's old Mossberg bolt action .22 from the 1950's. He gave me a bag of parts wth it that are the peeps. It has got a fixed 10x scope on it for NRA small bore matches currently.

Good list- I enjoyed that read. And mostly agree with them.

This box has been stripped down a bit and needs to be reorganized now (that happens when you only get to shoot a couple times a year).

The router makes the end result sooooo much nicer than the one I did on a drill press.

I do enjoy the Italian dressing marinade on chicken (grilled afterwards though). EDIT: had to fix horrible grammer/spelling which I'm going to blame on my phone's autocorrect/keyboard. Or maybe I'm just not good at words.

I take off the end caps and pour some Hoppes in for a soak. I've also been coating the inside of the tube and baffles with bore butter (Thompson Center product). I think any semi solid lube would work.

One of the reasons I don't get as much range time these days is because of all the gear I haul with me. The tool kit is no exception. I'll take a picture later, but I have a dedicated tackle box with all manner of destruction inside. Although, it also doubles as my cleaning box, so I have...

It's funny... sending $7500 give or take on a machine gun seems ok. But spending $7500 on a vehicle seems dumb to me.

That's like my month's ammo budget... gone in a second and a half.

Buying one of those high temp ones is about the same money as a real (used) ballistic helmet.

I need to rethink my ballistic helmet choice, so it would appear.

I have several carbine buffer tube assemblies if that would help.
