    I agree that the suppressors would have a real place that they would be very useful. I will also say that having stood beside a line of guys firing full auto AR's, that's a sound that makes you want to run the other direction.

    I'd love to have a real 1911 also... but... I'm afraid they're going to price themselves out of the market. I envision a grading system similar to what they have now- service grade, rack grade, etc. with the cheapest ones being in the $800 range going up to over a grand from there...

    I have no experience with that particular spring setup, but I did put a JP silent capture spring in my favorite carbine... and it's really, really smooth. And really, really quiet. I'm glad I changed out the old spring/buffer.

    This reminds me of the French machine gun during WWI or WWII (can't recall which)... the mag had a slot down the side of it. Yeah, well when that machine gun was used in the field, the mags clogged with dirt/mud/you name it causing the gun (well, mag) to jam and fail to feed. Granted, we won't...

    I can agree with this.... I'd be much more excited if it were threaded. Of course, it's going to have to match my .45 can's thread.
