    Bring Back Ruger 77 Series

I consolidated calibers too- and I think that's one of the reasons I'm interested in a .357 rifle. I've half way looked at the Marlin lever guns before, but they're expensive and I don't like lever actions that much. I could get into the bolt action pistol caliber though. I'm all set for...

    Bring Back Ruger 77 Series

I love the idea of a bolt action .357, but damn the suggested MSRP is $999 !!!! http://www.ruger.com/products/77Series77357/models.html I realize street price should be considerably less, but dang- I'm still not sure I want a pistol caliber bolt action that costs $700.

    Kalashnikov Company on the rebound

http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/kalashnikov-finds-success-even-after-us-ban/ar-BBEkODy?li=BBnbfcN Anyone remember that whole thing in Crimea? And the US sanctions against Russian companies that followed? Seems the company has been doing well. New clients- I find it particularly odd...

Cheap Bulk SHTF/Defense 12 Gauge Shells

I've got several hundred rounds of this stuff- ran through my pump 870 and 590 just fine. I think it was going for $80 per 250 from Midway when I ordered it- I've seen them repeat that sale a couple of times.

Shotguns with "tactical" buckshot, different barrel lengths and options

I have several friends (turkey hunters) who swear by the flight control wads.

Shotguns with "tactical" buckshot, different barrel lengths and options

Thanks for sharing the pictures- interesting for sure. This makes me want to shoot my mossberg with the 20" cylinder bore in a similar fashion- although I'd be using much cheaper ammo.

    Bullet Identification

Looks like some kind of AA round or some other small artillery- again, I have zero experience in such things. Although I have seen a 40mm (???) up close.

    Bullet Identification

I'll have to put a disclaimer on this- I have no idea what kind of bullet that actually was... But I remember that the copper rings were put around bullets as gas checks- seals to keep the gas behind the bullet/projectile. The hole in the bottom was for the same reason- the hot gas "pushed"...

    What's everybody catchin'?

Sounds like an awesome trip! Glad they were biting and the charter knew where to go- I've always wanted to go fishing off the coast (I won't say "deep sea" fishing- not sure I'm up for that kind of boat ride).

    Remington lost their damn minds

I'm sure you could get a custom for less. I didn't know the prices on the stock or barrel though- I don't play in the high end rifle game. Best I've got is an old Remmy 700 in .308. Or maybe the Tikka. Not sure which is really nicer- the Remmy has more aftermarket parts.

    Remington lost their damn minds

That's what I was going to say- a carbon fiber Manners at that. I thought it was a McMillan at first glance.

    Remington lost their damn minds

Like a yacht owner buying a $20K GPS system when a handheld would do... I can see their market. And I'm sure they'll sell a few. Hell, for that matter one of the new vice presidents may have just taken up sheep hunting and decided that this was a good product to build for the few hundred...

    Gemtech Sold to S&W

That's interesting... I wonder if they're following Ruger's lead, or if someone expects the Class III game to become less regulated in the future. Interesting regardless.
