    Sad part is I owned all 3 at one point. Now I'm down to a single, non-custom 1911. On the plus side, Suz has had treatments for her autoimmune stuff all along & we are still in the house she loves. That makes me happier than the guns I've sold would.

    Extremely reliable. Especially the models after 1962 that have an external extractor. SAO (but that's my favorite kind of semi-auto). Removing the mag disconnect does wonders for the trigger. Hammer bite is a problem for some people, especially civilian models with spur hammers. Easily remedied...

    Since insurance is paying for this, send a copy of the police report to both your insurance company & the roofing company. insurance will stop using roofing companies that have thieves for employees because they don't want the hassle & insurance companies are the lifeblood of roofing companies.
