Anybody looking for a $1,700-$4,800 revolver?

Korth's are super sweet wheelguns. I've shot one and wanted to own one every since. I'll buy one eventually.......

    AR Triggers

The RRA 2-stage NM has been in my DD M4V1 for 5 years. Nice and crisp, no issues, inexpensive. Larue MBT is a good one.....I have that in my backup M4. The Geissele units are good.

I really like the Nightforce Unimount. I've seen issues with the AmDef mounts when used on a .308 AR-type platform. Not always, but enough to concern me to the point that I don't recommend them for that application anymore. On a 5.56, however, they're good to go.

Should be a good shooter. I have to admit I haven't shot one of those yet. Have you decided on a mount for your optic?

For non-military/non-LEO; not very. I'll get them if they're an option, but I don't worry about it otherwise. Again, not something you're going to find in the price range you're looking at. If you jump up in price a bit, Nightforce has an SHV 3-10x and 2 different 4-14x's. One of the...

Sionics Weapon Systems Lower Receiver - Initial Impressions

NP3 and NP3 Plus are excellent coatings. I own several firearms that are all or partially-coated in NP3. Fixing to send another one to Robar, along with a bunch of magazines.

The Sighteon SIII line are great scopes as well, and Scott won't steer you wrong. The Sightron SIII has better glass than the VVPST and one of the strongest erector assemblies in the industry. I like the turrets of the VVPST better. Sightron SIII costs slightly more. So, it's a toss up...

Locking turrets aren't something you will find in an optic in this price range. Quite frankly, I doubt you'll need them. Contact Scott Berish at Liberty Optics and tell him Shep sent ya. I bet he can beat that price. http://www.libertyoptics.com

    600 yd optics

For 600yds and closer, either the SFP 2.5-10x44mm or FFP 2.5-10x32mm would work well. The 4-16x50mm, SFP or FFP, would work well also, and give a bit more magnification in case you want to reach out a bit further. The 6-24x50mm, SFP or FFP, is a good scope with more top end power than you...

    600 yd optics

The VVPST line are great scopes for the money spent. I see them come through my school on a regular basis with very little issues. As a matter of fact, I've seen waaaaay less issues with the VVPST than I do with the more expensive Leupold Mark4 line. No issues running to 1,000yds + with...

I'm not arguing in favor of one manufacturer over the other. Quite the contrary, I'm saying that the handguns from the "top" manufacturers are all comparably reliable and you should buy the one that has the features you like best. I've participated in too many firearms and ammo tests to be a...

I don't go lightly with lube, either! I've never seen a weapon malfunction due to too much lube. I have seen the reverse, though. Even looks like we may be using the same grease. Mobil 1 synthetic automotive grease?

I agree that inert primers rarely happen with quality factory loads. Russian steel-cased ammo hardly qualifies as quality factory loads. If the dud round is chambered in at least 3 different handguns (a selection from Glock/HK/SIG/Beretta/FN) and it refuses to fire, it is an inert primer and...

Ours are American-made P229's in .357SIG. They have proven to be ultra-reliable for us. Out of the 4 handguns that I "took the distance" (38,500-40,000 rounds) I only had 2 instances of parts breakage: a decocking lever spring (nothing that would stop a gun in a fight) and an extractor (fight...

26,000 rounds of ammo through a modern pistol barrel, even when using +P+ ammo, isn't anything unusual. My agency issues the SIG P229 in .357SIG (that's like a +P++, LOL). Once you get approximately 40,000 rounds through your duty gun you're issued a new one. I'm on my 5th so far. At 40,000...

The trigger better be worked! DA/SA HK's have the worst triggers, and I hate the ergonomics of the USP series. But, it's America and we've got choices!
