GSP had the Benelli Nova for a very short time. Had too many issues with it and dumped them.

The Win1300 is a good gun, as is the newer version made by FN.

I'd have to cut a few inches off the back of the forend on the IAC. Why would a clone of the 870, intended for defensive use, have a copy of a hunting forend on it? There are reasons the Police model has a shorter forend than the hunting models.

Find a shop that has police trade-ins and pick up a used Police model Rem870. Ed's in Stockbridge usually has some. Second choice would be a Mossberg 590 or 590A1. I can't recommend the 500 shotgun......seen too many issues with extended/heavy use.

You should have standard 5/8x24 threads, so, like karlvv said, one for a .308 AR should work.
