I swear when I was building and ordering parts I remember reading that PSA mags were ASC. Has something changed or am I making up new memories?

If I load one round in a mag and charge it yes, it will feed.

When I bought ASC mags for my AR10 I had to take measurements from some Pmags and break out the Dremel to modify the ASC mags to get them to feed at all. So my first thought was that once again, the ASC mags are junk, but in this case why would 31 rounds feed perfectly and just the last one...

Well, after I shoot the first round, the mag is loaded with 31 rounds.;) I don't think that the problem is that it fails to feed the 32nd round, but that it fails to feed the last round in the mag.

I currently only have 3 ASC mags and yes, all three of them did the same thing. She was clean as a whistle and bleeding oil. I plan to add many more mags, but wanted to see if there was a better option out there. When I built it and ordered these availability was extremely limited.

It was a mixup that there was obviously a box of .223 mixed in the 500 rounds of 7.62 they sent me. I loaded it without noticing. How I didn't notice it, I have no idea. Just not paying attention I guess. Definitely my fault that it ended up in my gun. I was just dumping box after box and...

This was 100% my mistake too. When you order 7.62x39 and they send you some .223 by mistake, you should either shoot it in a .223 rifle or send it back...

The .223 round won't seat all the way in the 7.62, so it leaves the back 4-5mm of the cartridge sticking out of the chamber. I really don't know why it didn't fire. It sure looks like it should have and it probably would have blown the back of that casing apart.

I read around the webs a little and found a few other people who have had similar experiences with rogue rounds of .223 mixed in with Wolf & Tul 7.62x30 ammo.
