Suz came home today. It is so wonderful to have her back with me. After I got her inside & settled on the couch, we just looked at each other for a long time. Duke was right there, too. He's hardly left her side. I thought I was going to have to use the shock collar to get him to go out long enough to pee & then he ran back into the house.

She is moving around much better than I expected with a walker. She's in a lot of pain, but she has been for a long time with her fibromyalgia & chronic Lyme. This adds even more pain to the mix, but she's an incredibly strong person. (Obviously, she's put up with me for more than 3 decades.

All of the prep work I managed to get done (with generous help from friends) has paid off. We'll still have to work out routines & how we will have to adjust as we encounter each situation, but we're still moving forward. It hasn't always been pretty or successful, but we've never quit. And we ain't quitting now.

Thanks again for all the prayers, well wishes & support. I haven't been able to stop smiling since she got here.

Got the Damn Ball out and it was not hard to do.
I made a Ball removal rod at work tonight.

Barrel is Perfect and now it is clean and the wood on this thing is Awesome.
Can not wait to shoot this nice Black Powder Rifle.
Just do not have any 45 Cal Lead Bullets for it Yet.
GR Douglas Barrels were made in the 50's to 70's I think.
But I do know GR Douglas Barrels were sought after for their accuracy.
