Really not surprised. There's also at least one story of a fertility Dr using his own samples for decades I think? So in that area there are a lot of people who are related and don't know it. Got to take them with a grain of salt, though. One dude took three tests (from three companies) each showed different mix of DNA/origin.
Identical twins took the test (IIRC 23 and me) - got different results.
I think the DNA dudes at Quantico could pinpoint who your great granddad did and in what position, but these retail places are a bit sketchy.
