Built out a pistol lower last night. Didn't have the patience to dremel on the A1 Bake grip to fit the lower @Jake, so threw a K2+ on it. Nice... I am thinking of building an x39 pistol upper myself. Have enough ASC mags. What mag do you run with your x39 AR's?

I run ASC and C-Products and haven't had a problem with either. I've never really had reliability issues with the platform.

The gap in the grip was way too narrow on the grip itself. Will revisit it today. See it I can demel fit it.

The platform has been reliable for me too, and with. .223/.556 boolits being much more than x39 food, another ×39 AR upper is appealing.

Finally got a chance to try out one of the SKSs I got from classic. Rifle ran through 120 rounds with no issues.

For me it feels little short - as though the butt stock needs another two inches. I seem to be hitting high and to the right so I don't know if thats part of the problem.

I'd like to hear your experince with them, as I am new to Russian stuff. This was my first time shooting 7.62x39.

Easy to throw a recoil pad on there and get another inch or two out of the stock.
Sight probably just need adjustment and you can use an AK style sight tool.
