As I stated earlier, there are solutions. No need for him (or anyone) to take unnecessary shit from a superior, ever.
If his boss is a shithead then he (Matt) needs to get some audio/video of this and then it’s easy to go from there. There are many ways to deal with this shit. I had to deal with it many years ago.
