Y'all store mags in pouches and totes, hell i just use the boxes they came in, one day I'll store them all in those mag pouches @Hayata likes
They take much less space when in totes.
The only problem is how heavy totes become. I almost killed myself trying to get one of the AK totes off the top shelf. That thing is close to 80 pounds!

I'm a big fan of .50 cal ammo cans. They fit 10 mags each and are stackable.

When I was moving, it was easy to grab 4 or 5 cans at a time until I grabbed a can that had actual ammo in it... Then I was like "oh fuck" because those are pretty heavy.

I have totes, pouches, boxes, milk crates filled with mags. It’s disgusting at times but awesome when I find a box with 2/3 spine stamp Izzys and some EGs. You want to know what I really miss? The early days of ODT and buying “random ak mag lots” for like $70. You’d get 9/10 mags and usually they’d have a few Russians in em.sigh...
Also: please talk me out of getting a 545 upper. Or someone sell me a complete lower
