More than likley its because the front sights and barrels are all Virgin drilled when married together at assembly. Even if you found a barrel and a FSB that are close you would still have to go up a bit size and taper ream.

I also am a big fan of Adcos barrel work. They've been around for ages and from personal experience put out quality work.
