I'd keep the blade setting locked so yeah the blades were always spinning. Having to turn 1000 times no way I wouldn't have kept them spinning.

My yard isn't really that great for a reel but I used one anyway. It looked good but I had dropped back to once a week so it was cutting a good bit off. A reel is really only for a flat, very small yard where cutting 2-3 times a week isn't a burden.

No joke for maintenance of the Trucut for a season I could have bought a $600 Honda rotary and thrown it away at the end of the season.
Yeah I bought a mower that basically paid for itself after 6 uses.

It's only a 9mm (uncloutworthy) that I got to see whether all this PCC shit was really as awesome as everyone said.
Those carbines just straight up work. No shit they are awesome and cheap. My buddy use to hog hunt with it from time to time. Held up to the salt marshes and swaps pretty well down here.
