Probably same amount as you too, couple thousand rounds crack it open dental pick some junk off, brass bristle brush some edges kinda fuck with it and reassemble.

A tumbler will do a good job though if you get one for your .22lr can might as well do the 9mm baffles too

The dude is cool but I was like uhhhhh ok thanks for trying to cover me in lube essentially. I could see walking away with stained clothes and burning eyes lol.
Ive done it just to see what, if any, fluid would make it quieter than the typical wire pulling gel. And any kind of oil or grease turns into a smelly fume cloud and splatters everywhere

Ahh yeah I’ve used water which worked well for that for about a mag worth of shooting. Lube just seemed like a messy idea.

What you did to clean your 9mm can is max what I do. It’ll look like shit again in 500 rounds so I got tired of trying to keep up with it. Breaking apart, knocking off big chunks and making sure it can reassemble is all I care to do for the center fire pistol cans now days
That kinda how I got so I just stopped messing with it until finally breaking it open the other day. I felt I had neglected it far too long.

I use a tumbler and stainless media on stainless baffles and crushed walnut shells media on aluminum baffles. Let it run a couple hours and wipe it down put it back together. There’s no need to make it look brand new again because the carbon build up makes a quieter can. However I do not want them to seize together and damage them trying to get them apart so I tumble them after about 1k rounds.

It’s big enough to run a full suppressor worth of baffles at once?

Yeah I put all the Spectre II baffles at once in there. When it’s done I’ll put all the Tirant 9 baffles in there. Mines the k so it’s 1-2 less baffles but it should be fine.

I mix up “the dip” and use it on my SilencerCo Sparrow. The monocore and the clamshell halves are all stainless, so it’s safe to dip them.

I let them soak overnight and then the next day I take them out and hit them with brake cleaner and a wire brush.

Everything cleans up like NEW.
