I may have to wait 13 months. My wife lost her job and I'm at that point in life when I now understand what fixed income means. But it's all good!

Know the feeling, my wife spent the last 3 years in colledge and graduated December 2011, medical office management. Seems the younger ones keep getting the jobs and I need a new roof on my house. May be a while before my next purchase.

The 10/22 Breakdown was gonna be my next purchase but 2 weeks ago I got a chance to shoot the Judge Public Defender in both 410 and. 45 LC. Man, talk about a ton of fun! I already have a 10/22 so I'm gonna put the Breakdown on hold and get the Judge next!

I think my 10/22 take down is a honey and I'm putting it together as a grab and go kit with all the goodies. Pics to follow.

I had a time gettin' mine set up. First, the barrel was a mite loose, then the scope was loose, then, the locktited base wiggled loose, etc. Now, it seems to shoot pretty dang good as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the come back verticoli. I think that it sounds like a winner to me. How does that carry bag work out for you? I hear it makes a pretty good bench rest also. 3Coyotes..you sound like me..hehe.

My son said he would trade his Mossberg Maverick 88 12g for my Remington Sportsman Model 48 16g. I know I said I would never get rid of another gun but heck he will get it someday anyways plus he would not be allowed to sell it. I did want to "tactical" out my Sportsman and this way I could do that to the Maverick very inexpensively. Just can't get over how cheap the Maverick feels compared to my Sportsman.

Yeah, my next allotment of mad money has to be for that safe upgrade.

I'm looking for a reliable compact/sub compact single stack 9mm. I already tried Taurus and Kel Tec.

It seems the LC9 and CM9 are still having issues. Maybe the S & W Shield ??

I recently purchased a Kahr CW9 and I am very happy with it. I don't know if that is small enough for you. The CM9 seems to be highly recommended by several members who have one.

A little over half way in my stashing away money for my next gun purchase, a Taurus Judge Public Defender with poly frame! I've already decided the first holster is gonna be a over the shoulder Tanker Style holster. Any suggestions on a good quality all leather one?
