Anyone on here have a micro can? This year I am finally going to bit the bullet and get into the NFA game. First on the list is a Swarm for my 22 Takedown and SR22. But next I'm thinking about a micro can for my G42 and G26. I'd like to hear if anyone has any recommendations or experience.

I'm curious as well. If the HPA actually passes I would like something small for my AR. I think the Grunt M is what @NWS has and he seems to like it.

I hope it does pass. I just think it's a tough road ahead of us.

I've looked at the TM Poseidon and the DeGroat Nano. What I would really like is a kind of modular design. Kinda like the @KGmade swarm. Micro can used with wipes for my sub compacts, add an extension and some baffles and it's range ready for my G19. Anyone make something like that?

A micro can has been in the list of projects for a while. Modular might be tricky because it would probably need Nielson device in the full size config

If it does, I have a feeling it will be later rather than sooner. Just jump in.

Oh I'm planning on a .22 can in the next couple of months. The more expensive cans will happen sooner if I can not have to save up the extra $200 for the tax stamp. Even then, a .30 cal can would happen before a dedicated 5.56 can.

Does someone make a threaded barrel for the g42?

I would have guessed that a micro can would probably have to have a monocore. I am not sure about the complexity of it but I am sure some kind of directional passages along with smaller vent-type holes would be in order. I don't know if I would be into a short but boxier more bulky can.
