What would be the first thing you do or buy?

I'd take a hacksaw to my shotgun, only because it wouldn't cost me anything.

Then I'd start saving money for a can and a HK UMP.

There wouldn't be much saving to do. If the NFA were to be repealed, prices on everything would plummet due to the resultant economies of scale....another reason it won't be repealed.

Having said that, the first thing that I would do is take a lower or two over to Dobbs Defense and have them make them full auto.

FA gets boring quick IMO, especially with low recoil guns like the mp5.

I would get a lower converted just to have it, and maybe a glock sear, because FA glocks still put a smile on my face.

Just get a few cans mailed to the house, and put a stock on the Scorpion. I agree about FA, not that exciting. I'd actually rather shoot SA.

After you've done it you're kind of like, "okay so I put a bunch of holes in paper really fast....what now?" It's more fun to challenge yourself, like sub gun matches

I would have one or two MGs just because I could. Most things would be SBRs and SBSs with cans on everything.

im weird I guess, I like SBR's with good SBR rounds like pistol rounds and 300blk type rounds, but everything else deserves a barrel long enough to maximize velocity.

I don't think that is weird. I think NFA items would lose their "cool factor" if the NFA was done away with. People would look more at a guns practicality. Right now sbrs are cool because you can't just go out and buy one. Let face it, a lot of people buy guns because they think they are cool/different not because they are the most useful tool for the job.

I love how small of bags and cases my SBR's fit in and how they control overall length when a suppressor is added. Suppressors just make shooting easier to do and allows me to do it more often.

I agree some things are useful. The 7 inch ars you see all over are not. If it wasn't for the wait time I think there would be a lot more people buying NFA stuff

That's one huge reason I'm excited about my first form 1 when it gets approved. I'm debating on putting one of those super tiny SMG style stocks on it to make the overall collapsed package even smaller

Drop a Glock in a Ronin after adding the fun switch to it, add some stocks to pistols and get some cans

It would be interesting to see the changes that would occur in the manufacturing of new guns. I assume a lot of new factory sbrs, full auto, and probably integrally suppressed stuff. It's fun to dream

Threaded barrel for my G19 and a suppressor.

M4. Not because I think FA is super great, but because I could.

I'd agree that full auto would get old fast, but I'd still like to have a SBR setup with a selector that goes to all three positions. 3 round burst would be my option for shooting fast.

I don't know the cyclic rate of a M4 right off, but I think you can dump a mag in a couple of seconds... I can't afford that much ammo very often.

And cans for everything. My first would have to be an integral MK II followed closely by an integral 10/22. Auto switch on the 10/22 for sure.

And a gosh damn street sweeper. Because fuck yeah- that's high volume buckshot.
