They are but they are finding work arounds. China, Turkey, Brazile, India are helping them to bypass the sanctions. The big difference is that Russia made it a point of becoming self-sufficient since 2014. And their foreign national debt can be paid off with the funds stolen by EU and US, and have dollars and euros left over.
US will fare better than EU and UK, in the short term (1 year). It will start hurting us really bad next spring. By that time our smaller 2022 harvest woild have been eaten and shipped to EU, to feed the starving masses there.
Put a winter garden in, if you can.
