The only Mosin I ended up keeping was a post war M44. The machining and finish was so much nicer than all the wartime models I had.
If the price goes up much more on them I might bail and get out of x54r completely.

I keep the house at 67 degrees in the "winter"...

Ft. McCoy, for whatever reason seemed hot in the summer, and when I got off work would set the room temperature around 68 degrees, in the winter I'd set it around 72 degrees... that seemed like a sauna when it was -20 outside.
